After Jennifer dissed Joan for calling people ‘fat’ and ‘ugly’ on ‘Fashion Police,’ the outspoken comedian took to Twitter to put J-Law in her place, accusing her of being ‘arrogant’ and hypocritical! Do you think Jennifer was wrong to voice her opinion? VOTE!
It seems Joan Rivers can dish it out but she can’t take it! The wise-cracking fashion critic, who always gives us laughs at other people’s expense on Fashion Police, was clearly upset about Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence‘s massive diss to her show, and she didn’t waste any time calling the actress out in three vicious tweets! Read on for more details.
Joan Rivers Disses Jennifer Lawrence After ‘Fashion Police’ Criticism
Jennifer brought up her beef with Joan’s show in a new interview with Yahoo, saying, “they put values in all the things that are wrong and show that it’s okay to just point at people and call them ugly and call them fat and they call it fun.”
Well, the 80-year-old Fashion Police frontwoman isn’t about to let anyone get away with bashing her show — especially someone who she has had nothing but praise for!
Jennifer Lawrence Attacks ‘Fashion Police’: They Value The ‘Wrong Things’
When Jen sat down with Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer, the floodgates opened and she didn’t hold back! “Shows like the Fashion Police and things like that are just showing these generations of young people to judge people based on things [that don't matter]. They put values in all the things that are wrong and [show] that it’s okay to just point at people and call them ugly and call them fat and they call it fun,” said the Oscar-winning actress.
An audience member asked the star what she thinks when people judge others based on looks, and she boldly replied, “Screw those people. You look how you look. What are you going to do, be hungry every single day to make other people happy? That’s just dumb.”
There’s no telling where the feud will end for these equally outspoken stars! So HollywoodLifers, whose side are you on — Jennifer’s or Joan’s? Let us know!
